Can't Run ds roms on Dsi (nds bootstrap shows "an error has occured" when booting a game)

Hi, i just modded a nintendo dsi for my friend
i installed some games but i can't launch any of them
please help because i tried everything

I've had similar problems when I was installing TWLoader before it was called TWiLight Menu++, the installation was very risky and it damaged my TWL_FIRM to the point that I had to reinstall it.

Are you using TWilightMenu? Make sure to get the latest version. And make your sdcard is formatted as Fat32 32kb cluster size.

Does this happen with any DS(i) game? This probably means your TWL_FIRM got corrupted, a very common issue that happens when installing CFW. To fix, download TWLFix-CFW, launch it from the homebrew launcher, then perform a system update from system settings. Yes, that's for a 3DS judging by the (.3dsx) extension. They're referring to a DSi.

Sounds like you got corrupted ROMs. If they work fine outside of your DSi, delete them on the SD card, and then try reformatting your SD card by following this guide: https://dsi.cfw.guide/sd-card-setup.html

If the issue persists, then try another SD card.
