Just take your time for doing this. It is quite complicated and there are chances you'll brick. You don't have to follow the entire guide, you can also stop after part 3. If you're not sure, just shoot me a message or ask on the forums.

Yes you have to be SUPER careful that's because I said you have to do it energized and with no rushes and in the end you'll see it WAS worth it. Its the best experience ive had a9hl+aureinand

No DS games. You'll need a flashcard for that (not sky3ds). Online multiplayer will be fine.

NO YOU CANT PLAY DS only 3ds.
Yeah that sucks but you can play online world wide Mario kart 7

So the biggest adavantage is that i can install the games as cia on my homescreen and also use emulators for old snes, gb, gba games etc, right?

I do not know if i'm going to play via emulator on my 3ds...just considering if i should do it or not!

Yes and if you have it set up you have a 100% boot rate and the ability to recover from a brick without a hard mod.

Well, it is possible that nintendo blocks the sky3ds+ card just like the regular sky3ds card so.. A9LH is future proof. By the way, you can still use your Sky3ds after you've set A9LH up.

Probably gone as you'll have no entrypoint for downgrade

Depends if you update the moment an update comes out. If you wait and see if the update is safe, you'll be warned when it is not and then you can stay on the firmware you are then and then downgrade. So you are relatively safe if you don't update immediately.

Ok! I began! First problem: I entered "http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax_auto.php" after the first other steps and now have the mesage "This browser version is not regonized/supported by 3ds_browserhax_common....." I zoomed in and tapped in the upper right corner but nothing happens. What did i wrong?
