Hey there,

i'm using sky3ds+ with the latest firmware 112. Every rom worked so far but now i tried Donkey Kong COuntry Returns. Because it's too big (4gb) i trimmed it with 3dsexplorer. The i copied it over to my micro sd. When i put it in my sky3ds+-module it won't show up on my nintendo 3ds. Every other game works so far. When i put the micro sd back to my computer, there are no entrys in the cfg-file from that rom.

Why is that? All i know is that i do not need no template file or disk writer tool anymore because of the current sky3ds+ firmware.

Why do all other rom work but not that one? And before you ask: The rom has the right Region!

It would be great if you could help me!

I solved the problem! It seems the micro sd card was too full. I use a 16Gb micro sd and there were only a few mb left. After i deleted an other rom, Donkey Kong showed up. Which leads me to a final question before this thread can be closed: How many roms can be put on the sky3ds+ at the same time? Does it depend on the sd-file size that Donkey Kong first didn't work for me or is it because of a limited number of roms? Does anybody now?

Thanks for your quick answers!

Cool! Where can i find this guide? Do you have a link?

Won't there be problems in terms of playing online, playing newest games that want the current firmware etc?

CooL! Thx!

What are the advantages of cfw + a9hi compared to the sky3ds+?

The keyword is future proof your 3ds. This means you will not have to worry about nintendo trying to block or ban your 3ds. If nintendo manages to block your sky3ds, you're screwed since you have a high firmware.
