I've tried several times recently to install Hermes cIOS 222/223 v4 and cant get it to work. I think I was able to install the previous version at one time a long time ago and toyed with uloader. The most recent changes to my 4.1u wii are, two months ago I installed bootmii as ios and made a nand backup before installing cIOS corp 3.2. Nothing major after that. Ive recently tried loading uloader to see if the cIOS is installed and uloader doesnt detect it. Maybe the cIOS corp install affected that but im not sure. However Im trying to get GH5 to work and trying to follow the steps and when I get to the install portion and select "use ios 38 merged with ios 60' nothing happens. I'm thinking of maybe booting to boot mii and do a nand restore but if heard that this will brick a wii if loading bootmii from ios. Any help or suggestions is greatly apprecited. Thanks!

    personally, I used IOS38 for 223 instead of IOS38 merged 60
I used that for 202 (for Mplayer and stuff)

I had the same problem. What I did was first delete the old 222/223 and then the new version installed fine.

i here you should not delete ios but rather just INSTALL ORIGINALS if you want to (correct me if this is wrong but i read many many times never delete IOS)

Originals of what? 222/223? You mean stubbed Nintendo "originals"?

Deleting a system IOS and a custom IOS are two different things. You can try ATD and delete 222 and 223 and then try to reinstall. Let us know if that works.

It's okay to delete IOS222 and 223 since they never were an official part of the Wii until 4.2, and even then all the official ones do is take up space. We tell people to never delete an IOS because a lot of people are rather silly and do things like delete IOS60 or IOS70.
