Hacking Can't get rock band 2 drums to work

I have searched, but can't find the exact answer.

I have just `obtained` Rock Band 2 but can't for the life of me get the drums to function. For starters, no part of the game can be played unless I plug a logitech microphone in (is that normal

). I can use both of the kids guitar hero guitars with it OK.
The drums work, because when I play a song using just the microphone I can hit the drums and hear the sound of them! Just the drums aren't registering as a controller.

I just read something about having cios installed affecting the game??? Not sure but I have:

Sorry if it's been answered before...

The drums register on my linux box as a trust drum kit iirc, so I don't think it's them at fault - rather my wii (config) or game itself ??

Been answered 10 billion times, next time use search.

USB instruments won't work unless you use a certain ios on your softchip. Wait a sec, I'll go find it for you.

Thanks, I did search - obviously not for the correct thing as my usb mic was working. Anyway in answer to my question, I need cios 37. Cheers again.
