Hacking Can't delete save

I saved in Pokemon Pearl, and wanted to restart with different starters, but it won't let me overwrite the saves. I've tried deleting the rom and rewriting, and tried renaming it also, but still keeps the save. I've everything. Can someone help me please? Thanks

pokemon have bulid in delete save function.
select + UP +B


M3 will release new firmware to reslove some problem about pokemon save,so I think G6 also.

Thank You, a question does come up, but it freezes.. I restarted a new game and it works! thank you!

Also, saves won't delete if you play the game then remove the cart from your DS, because it needs to see the loader screen to write the data in sram to a more permanant memory source. So just turn it on, let it go 'processing data...' and then the save will not show up if you delete the save using the manager, or even windows
