The program sucks, I had this problem too, are you ripping from discs? Because when i was doing that alot of the time it was the discs fault for not reading properly. Also try copying them over one at a time, then closin ghte program and rinsing and repeating, that helped me

no im using wbfs files and what do you mean rinsing and repeating

Why is your HDD using the WBFS format? You are years behind the times man.

I am assuming that all of you apps(backup loader and whatever) are on your SD card. If this is the case format your HDD to fat23 and try again. fat32 has much better compatibility with everything. Make sure you update your backup loader too.

I am not sure what guide you used but it was outdated for sure.

If for some reason our pc is not capable of formatting your HDD to fat32(which I doubt). You can use NTFS but it suffers from lack of compatibility with a lot of programs.

I have my Wii's harddrive as NTFS just for Wii games, and all of my homebrew apps, roms, and Gamecube ISOs on my 32GB SD card. It's a win-win situation, and highly recommend it to everyone.

Just use a 3rd party formatter. Look up "3rd party format FAT32 Windows"

I have a similar setup except my HDD is fat32. I put all of my GC games on the SD card so I do not have to disconnect my WiiU HDD when I play GC games.

Ah, cool. I'm using a 2006 launch Wii, not a Wii U. My disc drive still works 100%, I only use it for the occasional disc ripping or DVD playback, but those are rare. It can read burned Gamecube games too, but I prefer SD and USB loading instead of optical drive.

No, if it crashed every time it probably won't... that really sucks :/ it might be a drive issue. Either way, you can try NTFS if you're just trying to use Wii games, and see how that goes for you

now i got it as fat32 and working but when i get to 7 games it keeps removing the 8th game every time i take the usb out
