    Hello guys,

I'm experiencing some really weird issue. Yesterday I tried to install the A9LH via Gateway, but the process failed at 50%. The 3DS initially won't boot up, but after a few tries it finally did. I was on firmware 2.1, but I couldn't perform any type of hax (browserhax, etc.), so I updated via cartridge up to 9.2.0-4E. Anyway, even now, I'm not able to return to the Gateway Menu in any way: not via Cubic Ninja, nor browserhax. Visiting go.gateway-3ds.com makes the 3DS freeze, same for Cubic Ninja QR Codes.
Every other function is fine, I can play, I can open every application; I'm simply not able to return to my Emunand/Gateway Menu.

What could it be? I'm on a 1.7455 version of the browser, if it can help.

Yep, i'ts 9.2.0-4E. But is the internet browser the real issue? If so, can it be repaired?

EDIT: Did not saw your edit. I'm checking!

Welp, I'm not getting it or this is really funny. I'm trying to boot Decrypt9.dat, but the browser gives me an error. So... how can I update the browser if every browser hax access is denied? :O

Hmm that looks like some sort of FrankenFW on 2.1. Is it an O3DS or N3DS? If it's a N3DS careful when updating.

Try the guide Omegadrien shared. And don't rush things, those lead to Bricks.

I see you have cubic ninja so you should be able to access Homebrew Launcher with it. Plus I would just use Plailect's guide to get your OTP and install A9LH. Gateway method is still beta and it is NOT recommended unless you have a hardmod.

Nop. If I start Cubic Ninja, the hack gets loaded, then it randomly loads the web browser, and get stuck on it.

Check you have everything necessary for the payloads to work in your SD card. Do you touch anything before it loads the web browser? As you used GW card maybe your issue is more complicated than a FrankenFW due to failure when downgrading. Wait for someone with more knowledge about this to read the thread and they might help you out tomorrow. Sorry I cannot be of more help. Good luck with that.

Clear save data, then make sure you're using a Ninjhax2 payload for 9.2.0, and it should be able to launch homebrew

Ok, I got my 3DS back from hell! Here's what I've done:

    - Used Ninjhax 2.7 with Cubic Ninja. Every other hax method simply would not work
    - Got back into Time Machine. Updated the 3DS to 10.3.0-28E
    - Redowngraded to 2.1.0 E hoping everything would be fine this time
    - Various prayers
    - Downgrade succesful and A9LH installed via Gateway method

So, for my personal experience, don't install A9LH via Gateway. It's risky!

So even after all that, you still went through with the GW-A9LH installer and installed GW-A9LH? Well, OK then. Standard A9LH has a lot more features, and since GW already released a compatible a9lh.bin, I really don't see why people should bother with GW's A9LH Installer.

Also, like point out that on that public Private Beta Program page, the following disclaimer can be found right at the top:
"DISCLAIMER: Files on this page should be treated with extreme care and only used by advanced users who have access to a way to restore their 3DS NAND. Users should have a valid/known good copy of their NAND before proceeding! Use at your own risk!"

So to other GW users reading, if you don't mind being locked-down to GW-A9LH, at least wait until they polish it out more. This beta is intended for those who have hardmods or understand the risks.
