Cancelling Gamefly account...

Yesterday was my last chance to cancel my account before renewal, so I did so even though I've yet to receive a game they sent out a few days earlier. What happens if they get it back 8-9 days after cancelletion as opposed to 7? Will they still charge me $50 or is there any leeway there? Will they send the game bacK? I can't help it if USPS sucks, and it's Thanksgiving on top of that :-/

I believe they will charge you. When I was a Gamefly member, they had a system with the USPS where the post office would send Gamefly notification that a game is being returned and Gamefly would send the next game in your queue out. If they still do this, the post office should notify Gamefly that you sent the game back, preventing a charge.

I wish Netflix had the same kind of system, they seem to take forever.
