I suggest you use Wii Sports as due to it's small size (mini DVD) you can easily burn over it. If it doesn't work try tweaking the pot of your DVD burner --> make it 0 Ohm.

Or otherwise try to attach your Wii drive to your pc via a serial-cable, then put the tweaking pot to 2540203425Ohm so that it will burn DISCS instead of simply reading them!

Why don't you just get a cheap bland dvd, burn it, then pull apart the Wii Disc and put the cheap dvd inside it?!!!!!!??!??!??!?!!!
