Yah, of course! Otherwise it would be pretty useless

Just remember that you need to un-compress the ISO, so even though it's scrubbed, it'll be 4.37GB. If you're burning a file that's less than that, it won't work!

All you have to do is make sure you're burning an ISO file, and not a .rar, .zip, .7z, or whatever other file type.

Scrubbing only affects an ISO when it's compressed (or archived, if you prefer that term). ALL Wii ISOs, scrubbed or not, are 4.37GB.

I just wanted to make sure you understood that

dual-layer discs are making a rude gesture at you right now...just so ya know.

Fair enough. I completely forgot about the 3 or 4 games that are dual layer. My mistake!

they are pretty much scrubbed anyway when running from a HDD (wbfs)
If you burn a previously scrubbed game to disc and try to run it with a mod chip (disk channel), however, it won't work without the appropriate IOS having the trucha bug enabled (basically you'd need to install darkcorp).

again, that's just for using the disk channel. Any loader should work fine.

Scrubbed games are still signed. It's only trimmed games that require trucha patching.
I wrote veriify to make sure that my wbfs were ripped correctly and were properly signed.

So the answer is you can store them as backups but not run them as back ups since you need to uncompress it to work.

WBFS files on the other hand is the same size as a scrubbed ISO but does not need to be converted to an ISO to be played (even though you can if you want but i dont see a point since most of the data on ISO is garbage data ie: NSMBW 350mb wbfs/scrubbed and a full 4.37GB for the ISO.

Waste of space IMHO.
