Let's say I have a 3ds from America and my friend has one from Japan and we are in the same room so we use local wireless play on an american game OR vice versa to japanese game. Would it work? Let me know, thanks ^^

I know some games don't work (like donkey kong 3d) in local multiplayer with two different regions.

Probably not the same for all games. I'd imagine some like pokemon x and y would work in local wireless regardless of region.

hmm this sucks >_< . I guess its a hit and miss depending on the game. I hope region lock could be bypassed.
