I use DOS to format a 4gb microsd to Fat16. I was wondering if there are any slot 2 Supercards that can utilize a 4gb fat formated card. I've heard people say that you can. I was wondering if this was only for the Lite versions.

You can, but only if the card is non-SDHC. Most cards larger than 2 GB will be SDHC, though you can find the occasional 4 GB one that isn't. The main problem is that these cards are nonstandard, so we can't guarantee that they'll work correctly.

Problem solved. I thought the only difference between regular sd and sdhc was that one was FAT and the other FAT32. FAT file structure can't support disks over 4gb. So I figured that if you formatted a 4gb sdhc to FAT that it wouldn't be sdhc any more. Thats not the case. There's something else other than formatting that makes a disk sdhc. I tried a 4gb non sdhc card formatted to FAT and it worked.
