Hello,

I'm new to the Ps Vita, just got a 1000 model and luckily it was on 1.61
I installed henkaku enso with only Sd2Vita (mlthaku) with a 128go sd card, and everything is fine, I didn't want to buy a memory card since it's super exepnsive.

I'm just wondering, since I'll still get some physical games, if I could remove the sd2vita and play a game, then put the sd2vita back inside when I'm finished ?
I assume that this is not possible but that would be cool if I could do that without a memoy card.

That depends. Some games refuse to play without a memory card.

As for the others. Not sure how the system behaves if the plugin's enabled but a normal game is inserted. Meh. If it behaves strangely, you could always install something like Switch SD2Vita to ur0: to manage the SD2Vita plugin or something

I didn't knew about that, maybe i'll have to get a memory card then, even though the main reasons i'll buy the games are just for the sake of having them and support the developpers

It is possible. Go to sleep mode first then swap the SD2Vita out.

By sleep mode you mean turn off completely the console ? Sorry I'm still very new to this system and I'm not using it in english

No, just tap the power button, that puts it in sleep mode...screen is off, but the system is still powered on

Meh, I'd get a cheap small one, just to play those games that don't work at all without a memory card. A 4GB card shouldn't be too expensive.

Sorry for being this late but I followed your advise and I bought a 8 GB memory card since I've gotten myself muv-luv.
I don't want to mess things up so I didn't remove the sd2vita because I don't really know what I should copy to the memory card to make henkaku still work even when sd2vita is note inside.
Can someone please help me for this ?

(Will the games installed on sd2vita will still show up after I remove it and insert it again ?)

Hmm, let me think. What I'd recommend you do is installing SwitchSD2Vita, then moving it to internal storage using Application Storage Manager. Then, every time you want to remove the SD2Vita, just open Switch SD2Vita, make it switch so that the normal memory card is mounted as ux0, reboot and that's that. Once you want to use the SD2Vita again, just open the app again, change it again, reboot and that's it. That's what I myself do on my Vita OLED model.
