Like let's say I got one 32gb card with a emunand on it. than I setup another one for that same 3ds with a 64gb card.

Is this possible? and could I interchange them when I feel like it?

I assume the answer is yes, but I just wanted to make sure. : )

So for example I could take the sd card out of my red new3dsxl. and put it in my black new 3dsxl. and it would run the exploits/ rei/rxtools just fine?

On second thought I don't think this would work. because of the 3DS folder with the emunand/ sysnand files in it.

I do think. If I took that out. it could potentially work. But I think the emunand/ sysnand setup has to be done every time on the same console. hmm

You could do that, but keep in mind the emunands loaded by both systems would be different. I mean, they would not share any title or configuration. They can in fact run from the same SD, but they are entirely different. To put it into perspective, the only thing they will share is the SD and some homebrews.
