I have got a r4 card for my nds and when i put it into the console some kind of chinese writing appears in front of the r4 symbol.and nothing works.Have i bought a duff card or Do you know what the problem is and how can i correct it,many thanks.

You bought the chinese version, so you must use the chinese version of the firmware.
