Yesterday at work, there was a song on the radio that I really liked.
We are not allowed to use our smartphones, so I couldn't have recorded the music or use Shazam.
So then I tried to bury the chorus in my mind to find later.
It did go like this :

labcheck (?) babe ohoho ...

WTH is a labcheck
This might be the key word because I haven't found the song yet
It does sound close to lipstick, which didn't help me either.

I am pretty sure that the word had an b or p after the a or e
But it definitely ended with ‐eck

:wacko::wacko:

As for the genre, I really don't know.
It was sung by a bunch of women, comparable to something like the Spice Girls.

Chronological probably pre 2005‐ish

I hope someone can help me

But yeah labcheck everybody !

Do you know the station name you were listening to ? It may have the playlist available for a day or a week on their website ?
if not on the official radio page: Once, I wanted to find a name, and found website logging all (french) radios and their playlist, timed with all titles.

There are maybe some website for that in your country too ?
Maybe "online radio box" works for you too ?

Are you sure it was pre-2005? The word could have been "vibe check" but that wasn't that much of a thing back then.

I have one I hear at work as well, and would love help with it. I've looked it up on Youtube, but nothing so far. All I remember is the guy sings something about "I am ready now, I am ready now..." Not even sure if it's the chorus or what. It's not the tune by Plumb, 'cause it's a male singer, and it's not the one by Desperation Band.
