It's that strange sound you'll hear when it drowns out everything around you, even the TV. however its faint to those who can't hear it, consider yourself lucky since when it goes off it usually cause a hectic ringing in the ears until it dies down. Nuclear testing doesn't happen very often it usually depends on how much energy its being use around the facility.

I've experienced random ringing in my ears before but how do you know it's nuclear testing?
yea

my guess its just electronic noise
not actual noise from speakers
but if you mute your TV put your ear near the vent of the TV and you will hear it

I guess I hear random noises but is it really fair to call that nuclear testing? Although I maybe wrong, I dont think nuclear testing is to common in the middle of Los Angeles.

You cannot hear nuclear testing if you are not in the vicinity of the area where they are testing.

OP, this better be a joke thread, because if it isn't, you need help.

I do, however, get ringing in my hears once in a great while.
