Hacking Can you hack a New 3DS with a hacked 3DS?

I know you can used a hacked DS to generate a file needed to install CFW on a 3DS. But can a O3DS hash out the file for a N3DS?

You actually can...that's what I did when I got the N3DS like I wanted. I took my O3DS which was hacked to hack my N3DS.

I did this 11.9 2DS -> N2DSXL. It works.

There is no need for the "system transfer method" or any other method requiring a second 3DS anymore. The Guide includes methods that work on the most recent firmware.

(Technically, when you use the brute-force method of calculating your moveable.sed and you add another 3DS to your Friends list, another 3DS is getting involved to generate the "seed" for the calculation – but the process is automated and there's no benefit to generating the seed on your own.)
