Hacking Can you get the save file for Pokemon X & Y on Gateway?

Now that Pokemon x & y can be played on gateway 3ds, is it possible to get the save file backed up/recovered? Also I assume that the save file is encrypted so it can be edited or something, but I wonder if just reverting to previous points is possible.

I assume you mean it's playable in "Classic" mode, but no, you can't backup saves of Nand-based titles, yet.

I think he's confused from the NAND-based saves video GW released.

@OP It's just a demonstration showing the feature working, included in the 2.0 final firmware, which hasn't been released yet.

When it is released, you will most likely be able to backup the saves.

With that and the new Homebrew coming out, I am legit thinking of dropping some cash on a 4.5 3ds and a gateway

Wonder how long from when we can access our Pokemon saves to the new Pokegen.

Also I imagine that once the homebrew works on gateway 3ds etc, that perhaps mem dumps or code dumps of the pokemon rom can occur, and perhaps people will figure out teh encryption on gts, trade etc to get SVs and gts exploits back.
