I can wait, but obviously i'd prefer not to. Anyone got a plan to get a Wii U before the year ends they'd be willing to share?

Well, you have a better chance getting the white one, either by pre-order now (which aren't that much places doing that at this
point) or stay the night at a store before launch day. Contact stores to see who opening up earlier and times in general.

Not this year. I need to help furnish a new room. pay for enxt semester's classes, and do christmas shopping. Won't have much money left after that. Gotta start saving for a new PC after that. So unless I get lucky or I get it as a gidt, no Wii U for me for awhile

If I'm not mistaken I'll have one around February. Have a bit of PC gaming to catch up on first.

I can get one but no games I want makes it unfeasible, also the region lock doesn't help matters as I have to choose to import or not, I don't want an expensive paperweight or decoration in my room that shouldn't be used as such, I already have 20 figures that cost close to or at $300 in my home office.

I managed to get on the WiiU Black 32GB pre-order at GameStop the other day. So yes, I am planning to get the WiiU.

Im probably just going to wait till theres quite a few games I want.

    >Sees ZombiU, Scribblenauts Unlimited and MH3U

Well, shit. I guess Ouya is gonna have to stand in the back if the line.

Speaking if games, why do people keep saying the Wii U doesnt have any? Its got a shitton of sweet launch titles, the only shit one ive seen is TANKS! TANKS! TANKS!

My plan is to go to TRU on launch day and redeem my preorder. If you didn't preorder, black Friday is probably your best bet.

Haven't seen anyone seriously say the launch titles suck, although some people do wish they were better.

Wow, it sounds really popular in the US.
Can't say its the Same for the UK, I work in a games store and I can count the amount of pre-orders we have on one hand.

Same here. Just walked in, bought some stuff, and the guy asked if I wanted to pre-order the 32gb model, so I said sure.
