Homebrew can you download files from dshobro?

I want to know if DSHobro can download files as well. I know it is the best DS homebrew browser maybe even better than the original Opera DS brower browser released by Nintendo and I want to know if it has this features as well

I don't think so.

From what I know, it works by caching the webpage on your PC and sending a compressed version/image(?) of that to your DS.

Exactly. So, if you donwload something, it will be onto your PC.
