Hacking can you backup your ps3 nand?

hey fellas,

just wondering if you can do it sort of like the psp just in case something happens during your softmod?

gonna softmod this bad boy now and just wanted to double check and be safe than sorry even though everyone is saying flashing with 3.55 cfw kmeaw is pretty easy and safe.

time to clean the dust off and play some ps3 games. any helpful pointers during the process would be greatly appreciated.

You need an hardware device to make a NAND or NOR backup.
That same hardware let you restore it too.

There are different hardware available:
Infectus (you need to solder it)
Progskeet (available in solder-less clip)
E3Flasher (Solder-less for Slim with the limited (newer) edition)


There is no software NAND/NOR dumper.
