That's your best bet. I was wrong on #3. It comes with a second cart to play DS roms just like Gateway.

1. No (although you get this with crappy 'CFW' anyway)
2. Yes, up to a point (about ~2013) no eshop at all

4. Probably not, since homebrew-level sig checks aren't in place.
5. Well, you can downgrade to 4.5 and get the above features/limitations.

Honestly, since its $25 above a reg DS card, the R4iGold D isn't such a bad deal for $40.

whatever price you can find a 3ds compatible card for, general price seems to be around $10......but if you can find one for $3.64 that works on a 4.x 3ds sure thing

you could use the money you would spend on the R4 to just buy a bigger SD card for your 3DS.....suppose it makes a handy game slot dust cover

I've tried CFW so many freakin times. I got it to work on my 2GB sd card, and now I wanna use my 8GB, but it ALWAYS crashes. I restart at step 1 and shit, but never any luck

Don't push L button When You launch the CFW, the CFW works fine to me, no crashes to me
