Hacking Can YANBD be done later then step 6 in the guide?

I am on 5.5 and trying to get homebrew and wii backups running. I have followed the guide and just dumped the nand. I can't seem to get YAMBD to work.

Can I come back to this step after putting in the new CIOS, usb loaders like wiiflow?

I have not moved on in the process because I am not sure if I can dump the ios after all the other things are added.
