Hacking Can WiiU go online if you hack vWii?

I've tried to look for the answer on the forum (either my search skills suck or its not easy to find).

Anyways, once I hack vWii, can I still go online on the WiiU OS?

From what I understand, the two function somewhat independent of each other.

It won't hinder your connecting online, but that's not to say Nintendo couldn't notice part of it is hacked.

I've got my vWii hacked and use both Wii and Wii U online services daily.

Same here, although I didn't go online very much because my old apartment's ISP and wireless infrastructure sucked. Hopefully my new place won't be as bad.
