There is no Dreamcast emulators for Wii U so it's a moot point. It probably would have enough power if someone ported a good PC emulator like Flycast.

Switch however, has Flycast and it's great.

In all honesty i doubt it because its only 2 generations away. Its comparable to N64 emulation on the wii, im looking at paper mario with consistent lag and background glitches.

If it could be possible to emulate dreamcast with decent specs.
Mmmm... there's like a "rule" that to emulate something in raw power you have to surpass that something like 4 or 5 times, but that's partially true, you have to also understand that sometimes, 'cause the architecture of the console or PC it becomes even harder, 'cause some architectures lack the calls or specs to emulate or "dynamicaly recompile" the thing you want to emulate.
There's PPSSPP for Wii U, although is a dead project and it never was as good as the PC version... and that's the thing, the Wii U has a lot of dead projects but has some potential. If the Wii was somewhat capable of emulating Playstation, maybe the Wii U could have a chance on emulators like that. I'm not talking about Dreamcast really, but if someone would make a port of some emulators to Wii U, instead of us relaying on the Wii emulators from 2010, emulation on the Wii U could be better...
But no, possibly never Dreamcast emulation.

Well, if there are people thinking about developing a Dreamcast emulator for the PSVita and the New 3DS, it would possibly be possible for the Wii U too since it is superior to these consoles.

At least for now you can play some Dreamcast games that came out for Game Cube / Wii by Nintendont as Sonic Adventure 1/2, Phantasy Star Online, Crazy Taxi, RE:Code Veronica, MDK2, Skies of Acardia etc...
