Can Wifi Homebrew connect to official Nintendo Wifi Hotspots?

I'm asking this as i have no connection at home and today i visited a hotspot.

I set up the wifi settings with tetris DS which when i tested the connection (under options) it worked fine (i didn't actually play a game).

Then when i tried the LATEST versions of Beup and IRCDS, neither connected.

I have a later version ds lite (purple for the pictochat test) but i heard the latest versions of these homebrews work wit hit fine.

Any answers much appreciated!,

Yours Sincerely

I dont think it does, as usually when connecting to wifi the encryption is set to shared with ds games and open for homebrew, well its like that for me, so i dont think it will work with homebrew, since the hotspots are designed for games.

Encryption on official hotspots. Hahaha. Funny. Not.
Think before you type.

Most likely the connection is limited just for the IP range that Nintendo uses for WFC.
