Correct me if im wrong but the game manager converts the file to .gba? Does it play these at full speed?

Where did you read that? I've never heard of an M3 automatically converting gbc files to .gba. I don't own an M3 so I could be wrong, but I'd assume you have to run GBC games through an emulator program called "Goomba Color". (google it)

The M3 forum might have more info, the linked post mentioned issues with emulating gold silver and crystal on the Gooba emulator.

You can use the game manager to convert .gbc to .gba, but that is just an older version of Goomba color. If you want to use the latest verion of Goomba color, download it (Google), put goomba.gba in the root of the card, click and drag the .gbc over to you SD/CF, and start it in GBA mode. It saves perfectly.

You can download Goomba from my sig.
