I just want to check and make sur ethe wavebird wireless controller works on the Wii before i get it. When I had my Gamecube (before i sold it), I had a wavebird and I remeber the receiver being a little bulky. Doesnt the lid on the Wii (on the gamecube controller part) get in the way of trying to plug the receiver into the Wii? Or can that grey thing rotate so its not in the way?

That is cool, I was thinking of selling my Wavebird until I just read this. Man, now I don't know if I should...

At the very least, an extra person at a multi-player party will like it...oh, what to do? (strapped for cash, right now)

Keep it and just go pawn off some of your old games if you absolutely need cash. I kept my wavebird and frankly it was worth it imho.
