Normally when I get new songs in Rock Band, I forget them really easily, either because they suck or the guitar is boring as hell.

For the first time in a while, I actually found a song that was good. It's insanely weird, but good.
Go to about 1 minute in if you want to skip the mood setting part.

Why am I posting this here, you may ask.
What the hell is the song about? Usually I can figure it out, but this one.... what the hell? Can anyone figure it out?

Old thread yes, but no one replied, and I still am wondering what people think this song might mean.

Like I haven't heard that before from my RL friends I asked.

That's like saying The Beatle's "Octopusse's Garden" is about a garden. Too vague.

It fits some, but not all. The song sounds like it's blaming Africa for whatever he's describing (Africa you have him falling apart
Sendin' your mainline led straight to his heart), and if it were about what you said, it wouldn't be Africa to blame. Did you listen to the song, or just read the lyrics? It's nearly impossible to tell what a song is about without hearing it for mood settings.

Really? There's no way. That's like saying Motley Crue's Kickstart my Heart is about E.D, just..... no. Listen to the song/read the lyrics before randomly guessing.

As with all song lyrics, when in doubt, erectile dysfunction. It's about one man's struggle with inadequacy. IN BED.

(Also, Moby Dick is a metaphor for marriage.)

I said "when in doubt", didn't I? There's little doubt about Kickstart my Heart.

Also, in case the Moby Dick bit didn't clue you in, I was talking tongue in cheek.

Also, "The Death of the Author".
