Honestly never touched a PSP before, but I planned on getting one next week since I have been wanting to get some games I would kill to see on the DS, like Outrun 2006, and they actually look cheap enough for me to just go for it. A friend who doesn't use his own system much lent me his so I can get used to it. However, his system is running some custom firmware that I know is out of date. He hasn't updated for ages since his PC is fried and he never gets any new UMDs for it, so hasn't been a problem for him, but since I have my hands on it for now, I thought I'd try to do it if it looks easy enough. After all, I wouldn't won't to brick his system.
Anyway, the system software section mentions it is running 5.00 M33-4, and its a model 2000 PSP. How would I go about getting his system up to date?
Sorry if this was covered in another topic, just that they seem to be about putting CFW on the system in the first place, and don't mention updating since it is likely obvious to anyone who installed it already.
