Gaming can PS1 or PS2 be played on PSP

I know PS1 games can be played on the PSP but how about PS2 games since it doesn't seem likely so how true is it... or maybe i heard wrongly that there is a connection btn ps2 and psp but not tht u can play it on em
Clear this for me since it's my first question on PSP ever i think

Some PS2 games got ported to PSP. Not exactly a PS2 game, but originally was for PS2 so I guess I'd just throw it there.

There are only limited number of PS3 games that support remote play. Unless you already own a PS3, it's not a feature you'd get a PS3.

Remote Play allows you to play PS3 games or other features on your PSP.

Only selected games support Remote Play, and I don't think Blu-Ray playback was supported either.
(It's been a while since I tried so maybe newer firmware could support that?)
