Can multiple torrent downloads affect speed?

Im downloading the game guitar hero world tour for wii on bittorrent and i even want to get pro evolution soccer 08 so if i downlaod em both together could it affect the speed of my first one because it downloading at an awesome speed

Although I'm not the most experience, I think it really depends on your computer and internet connection. Having multiple downloads usually slow down progress but I'm guessing its not that significant for you. If your downloading at a good speed like you said, I wouldn't worry about it.

Since they're using the same connection, yeah, they do affect it. Then again, it's not always that torrents download at full speed.

You might want to give priority to one of those downloads, or just leave both of 'em be. It's up to you.
