Right now I have a 1tb hard drive set up to run Wii/Gamecube backups with a lot of extra space not being used at the moment. Currently the drive is set up and hidden so that I can use it in USB Loader GX on vWii. But I would like to load Wii U backups as well, not having any other usb drives with enough space on them. Is it possible that I could partition the drive, one partition being reserved and still hidden for the vWii, while the other partition is unhidden and used by the Wii U?

the answer is the same as the hundred other threads we get each week asking this question. No as the hdd gets formated into a special format in wiiu mode that does not work in vwii mode you also can't use different partitions. the answer to this question could have easily been found if you searched for it.
