Hi. I dropped my 2ds xl in the bath and fried it. I just bought another one and hacked it with the guide at 3ds.guide. can i restore my sysnand backup from my previous 2ds xl to my new 2ds and use the same sd card. ala not lose my save data? I was thinking creating a separate emunand for my previous 2ds xl sysnand backup or would it be better to write it to the sysnand?

Try it first on Emunand.
Work this on Emunand you can Flash it to Sysnand.
Doesn´t work it on Emunand you can Flash it to Sysnand but it will Brick

You would need to use the sd card with the system that made that 3ds folder and decrypt the saves using JKSM save manager or checkpoint. Without the previous 3ds it was made on, that folder is useless on other consoles.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
