Can I use microSD with the SD card adapter instead of a regular SD card

    Topic Title.

    Wondering if im able to load my games and everything onto a micro sd card with SD adapter i accidently bought a micro sd today instead of a regular sd card

    If you have the new 3ds it only supports microsd

    Just use a mircosd to regular sd adapter and your good

    Coolio do i have to format it first?

    And one other question am I able to just copy and paste the contents from my old SD card onto this new one?

    microSD with an SD card adapter is functionally identical to a regular SD card in all situations. I always stick to microSD cards, even when I am buying it for a device that uses a full-sized SD card.

    The adapters are passive. They're just wires connecting the contacts from the microSD position to the full size position. The extra contact in the full size pinout is an extra ground.
