Can I Use Gateway 3DS On A Modded Up To Date 3DS?

I already have Luma 3D installed on my up to date New 3DS XL, works fine, I also have a Supercard to play DS Roms and homebrew.

While I can already install .cia fles on my 3DS and install with FBI just fine, I wish to run the games as .3ds Roms directly instead of having to install each one, I thought of getting a Gateway 3DS for that, would it work on my 3DS with out needing to downgrade seeing how I have Luma 3D already?

you would need to downgrade to use gateway, they stopped updating years ago

You would need to go through a roundabout mess of making a frankenfirmware from an older firmware and only upgrade select parts. Honestly, just stick to Luma3DS and retire the Brickwait

Flashcards are outdated. Custom firmware, most commonly Luma3DS, is the best way to go and install homebrew and games.
