Hardware Can I use a Wii U power adapter with a Wii console?

Hi, my Wii power adapter recently broke, so I was wondering, can I use a Wii U power adapter on a Wii? I'm aware a Wii one doesn't work on a Wii U because of power limitations, but I've never found a straight answer for my question. If not, i'm fine buying a new one. Thanks!

No the actual connector at the end of the power supply is different. So it won't fit.

The wiis connector is curved on the right side as seen here
