Homebrew Can I update my 3ds running 9.4.0?

My 3ds is currently on fw 9.4.0-21u with menuhax. If I update to the latest fw will I still have access to the homebrew launcher? (I dont have oot or cubic ninja but I want to go online.)

if you update now, you'll lose homebrew because menuhax won't work.

Don't update. Downgrade to 9.2 and use menuhax or A9LH (recommended) to run CFW. If you update to 11.0, you'll need to use a secondary exploit for homebrew, and you won't be able to downgrade without a hard mod.

No, but you'll be able to use emuNAND or A9LH which will enable you to update to the latest FW while keeping the benefits of a 9.2 system.

in short, yes you will be able to play online when you downgrade and set up cfw/etc.

"2DS" is basically "Old 3DS". nothing's different on 2DS.
