to save space on my Wii internal memory i often have to transfer a wad, that i have installed, from my Wii onto my SD card using the Wii Channel Manager. i then delete it from my Wii to free up save blocks. when i go to transfer the games from my SD card back onto the Wii internal memory using the Wii Channel Manager, some games transfer fine and others say "the data was not copied".

    why is this happening?

is this a known issue that i just never read about?

am i not supposed to transfer installed wads like that?

for the games that do not copy back onto the Wii, do i have to reinstall the wad files?

If you updated to 3.3 some wads do this.

internet connection + firmware 3.3= bad news for wads

i guess i will just have to be more picky about what games i transfer to my SD card.
i don't think it is worth it to downgrade the firmware because of this one issue.

    thank you for the help.

I don't think it has anything to do with internet. I think it's only because on 3.3, they won't allow you to transfer files to your system that you didn't obtain officially.
