Hacking Can I swap games on an official nintendo flashcart

My pokemon white 2 game wont load anymore, it says it can't read the data and to reboot every time I load it up, so I was wondering, could I download the rom online and replace the files with the rom and trimmed version of the rom using Godmode9. I see on the gamecart now POKEMON_W2_IRDO01_00.nds and POKEMON_W2_IRDO01_00.trim.nds. Would it work, also, does the rom file have to be a certain name or can it be whatever. Also, I can't copy the gamecart contents to gm9/out because it just gives me an error
