Hacking can i play PAL games on USA Wii ?

im using the gamma loader 0.3

i downgrade to 3.2 U (was on 3.4U)

my question is, can i get PAL backups and play without worrying it bricks the system?

do i need to patch anything i download with "PAL" on their filename?

oh also what happen for jap games?

well I play pal games on my ntfs-u wii, no problem with bricking. I use 3.3v1 and I put default language English and force ntfs

Just don't update the wii with the disk update on other region games or BRICK!

Starfall can allow you to skip disk updates automatically.

FYI the backup loader disables updates. you don't have to worry about updates when you run games through it.... the rebooter may be another matter.

if your tv supports the video mode yes, if not youll have to force the video mode (if its supported) or change the video region with one of the available programs.
Rebooter is part of the gamma loader that makes games load from the disc channel

Press 1 when its loading - go to the config menu and select force NTSC

If your TV supports PAL, you don't need a patch for NTSC or force mode.

But you'll have to force NTSC.

I just get a big green screen when I force ntsc

Some games simply aren't compatible with certain forced modes.
