Hardware Can I just copy the contents of my current MicroSD to a different one will it be the same?

I just bought a 32gb microSDHC card to replace the stock 4gb microSDHC one. If I want to transfer everything over from the old one to the new one can I just copy the contents of the old one to the new one using Windows and will my save data remain and my hacked 3ds work the same as before, or is it not that simple?
Also would copying the contents of an old microSDHC also work for the Wii U, because I plan to put the old one from my 3DS into my Wii U.

Yes, if you have A9LH installed with sysNAND backup the contents of the smaller card and paste onto the new one, format it to fat32 first, it should all be fine.
