Hi all,

On my Wii, my sd card reader seems broken
and I can only launche homebrew thanks wiiload.

That works fine, but I'm in firmware 3.4E
and I want to downgrade to 3.2E.

So, I've to downgrade to IOS35
and then to install cios_fix.

But this step requires a SD card.

How could I do that without sd card?

Best regards, and thanks in advance for any answer.

Herve

Well when you sd card reader is broken you need an usb pen that is compatible with the new HBC, and the new HBC of course. Or you need a LoadMii channel. But once you got this, there's not much left you need wifi for. The latest cIOS installers are examples for apps that require wifi if the sd card reader is broken.

Anyways, how do you manage to kill that one?

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
