So I followed "them guide" and have Luma, arm9, FBI, etc. can I use FBI to install .cia games?

Oh And: How do I make a backup save of a free shop game?

Yes, you can. However, freeshop and similar software install the software in a "cleaner" way, so I'd stick with those instead of grabbing .cia's off of that site when possible. You can use JKSM to backup and restore saves.

Agreed, but There's a version of Bravely Second that restores the censored costumes back into the game, along with the class they completely changed, so I wanted access to that.

But, I already have like 9 hours into the standard, so I wanted to definitely keep that save

So I grabbed, that, went to the game, export save data, and named it "save1", then I did the same with the extra data.

Should that be it? If I re-install the new one, of the same region, I can go back to the program, and import both of those "save1" datas?

If the game is the same region and stuff just import the save1 and the extra data to it

Cool. Should I uninstall the freeshop version FIRST? Or can I install the .CIA version and have it overwrite the original?

Well, it is usually way faster just to grab a cia off a site going through MEGA to download it. I only use free shop to download dlc and fbi has an option to delete the cia after install.

So...I got an error. Importing extra data worked fine. Trying to import save data says "error opening archive!"

    This is a nightmare..

Did you try deleting the save data in the game then inject the one you dumped?

Oh, yes I did. I think I fixed it. I had to initialize the game data first by starting it anyway with no save, exiting, and THEN importing. Thanks for the help
