Can I have Wood R4 as a primary firmware and 1.18 as secondary?

a guide or a program to do it or something please, as I want wood for games and 1.18 as a homebrew app player, some of the apps aren't working on wood.

I think I saw something where you can use R4crypt to turn 1.18's _ds_menu.dat into a working .NDS file or something.

Have a search around the R4 forum, I think this has been asked before.

1). Extract/Copy the R4 Firmware to your MicroSD as usual.
2). Extract WoodR4 Firmware to your desktop.
3). Drag/Drop _DS_MENU.DAT onto r4dec.exe to decrypt it.
4). Rename _DS_MENU.DAT.DEC to Default.nds

Now the DS will load the R4 firmware which will automatically boot the Wood Firmware.

As far as I know, you cannot make the official R4 Firmware into an NDS file.
I have tried it many times in the past with Moonshell/YSMenu.
The R4li firmware (1.24) works just fine in that aspect, but has issues of it's own.
