just thinking about this. i know the drive with the apps and games for usbloader gx needs to be in the bottom slot. but my drive is getting full as its got games and tv in it.

can i put my movies onto another drive and have it in the other slot and will WiiMC see it?

Test with an USB stick and see what happens.

You will have to try. I know mine only gets recognized from the outside slot.

I've just tried this on my Wii. It doesn't work, Wiimc only recognises the USB in in the lower/outside slot.

    Ideas factory :)
Some apps can recognize both, others can see just one at a time (ex: u-Loader can be patched to use any port)
It will be very hard to make a permanent setup using both ports atm without the need to switch devices.

I know DIOS MIOS can read hard drives from both slots, and certain cIOS versions can too.
