I know I'm not that good, so please, you dont have to say I suck really bad...

Originally I was going to use my beatbox + guitar to use as the music background, but I didnt have to time so I used someones beat

Please rate and comment! Thanks for watching...

For a first time, that's pretty good, really.
Personally though, it seemed like the space you were in was really constricting your "artistic freedom". Knowing a couple of B-Boys I can say getting a bigger/more open area to dance would be better, also, if you're dancing to an actual song just overlay/time it over the video and stuff so people watching can get a sense of the beat you're going at and stuff.

    Yups.

That's a pretty interesting dance routine. I liked it. Awesome mask too, by the way.

Not bad at all, though my only suggestion would be, for you to be a little more energetic.

    Cheers.

As one of those YouTube comments said: you look a little stiff at times, but overall I quite like your performance. I'd love to see more of this/you.

Pretty good. You're definitely fluid, although sometimes you weren't passing the energy through the shoulders quite so fluidly. I reckon that's more down to it being your first performance in front of a cam then talent though. I'd also throw in some more popping to contrast the fluidity. Was the track on the vid the one you were dancing to?

I don't think so, because then he probably wouldn't have done those dance moves at the beginning (when there was just a little beat), at least those seemed awkward to me (and I suppose they seemed awkward to you, too, otherwise you wouldn't have asked [IMG])

Yep, that's exactly the reason I was asking! lol It looked good but would have had more impact if the timing of the dance and the tune matched. And if it was the tune he was dancing to I would have recommended working on rhythm! [IMG]

    Your better than most people.

You should get more room to dance so can move about a bit more.
also there are parts where your legs are doing nothing this makes it look a bit stiff.

    keep it up [IMG]

p.s. I know nothing about dancing.

Bloody hell! Then you've definitely got some natural talent. Keep working at it and you'll become pretty good pretty quickly. Work on pops, locks and freezes. They really help to put an "accent" on the moves if you get me. You should definitely stick at though, I can see you getting pretty good pretty quickly.

Well aside from the fact that the robot is older than you are [IMG]

It wasn't so bad. 9 out of 10 males couldn't dance to save their lives. So the fact you can dance at all already makes you rare.

Girls like guys that actually want to dance as much as guys that are great dancers. I watched sooooo many evenings at the local dance drinking spots in my 20s where it was normally 90% women on the dance floor dancing with each other simply because guys suck at dancing or simply hate it enough to refuse.

Most guys will only slow dance with a women simply because they figure it is mandatory if they plan to be getting any action later on.

So stop being harsh on your performance. Unless you plan on dancing for a living, you are already well ahead of nearly anyone that will matter in your life ie all the other males competing for women.

    Pretty good! Some suggestions:
    1. Remove the mask! It makes you look so depressing and darkens the mood of the dancing.
    2. Overlay the music track that you are dancing to on the video, it helps viewers understand the movements better.
    3. Speed it up in some parts. Your moves are quite good, but they seem quite slow and laboured instead of flowing.

Keep it up, you're already a better dancer than most boys, but you could be better! [IMG]
