Hacking Can I get Miiverse/3DS eshop w. IP filters for Wii U update blocking?

Hello,

I've been considering using IP filters in my router to block my Wii U from updating, but the one thing holding me back was that I still want to be able to access Miiverse on my Wii U and the eshop on my 3DS. Do I have to do anything special? Is it even possible to block updates this way while still allowing those features?

Ah, if you have cfw use freeshop for eshop or dont use a dns, is not necessary, the 3DS dont update automatically, u ned to confirm the update

In other words, buy another router for your 3DS (or Wii U).

You can also use other Nintendo services. The Update servers are only Blocked, not the eShop, MiiVerse, etc.
